Deb Alexander

Senior training consultant

Deb Alexander specializes in training for decision support software and analytics, including Symmetry analytic engines, and helps clients optimize their use of the Impact Intelligence™ decision support software. Deb joined Ingenix in 2000, and brings to her role as product consultant more than 12 years experience in health care, product implementation, business and data analysis, software testing, training material development and maintenance.

Focus areas: Physician to peer comparative measurement initiatives, cost and utilization analysis, employer group reporting, and medical management activities to improve the consumer experience.


Kari Berg
Kari Berg

Senior training consultant

As a classroom instructor, Kari Berg enjoys helping clients tap the potential in their technology and become more empowered to make a difference in their jobs. Working in health care since 2000, her experience includes leading hands-on product training and developing product documentation that spans the claims and software process.

Focus areas: iCES and ClaimsManager.


Beth Bergman
Beth Bergman

Senior training consultant

Beth Bergman joined Ingenix in 2000 and is a member of the payer training team. She has extensive experience training users of varying levels on all GeoAccess products. Her background also includes local and WAN technology and training that focused on government, schools and hospitals.

Focus areas: GeoNetworks®, DisruptionAnalysis®, GeoCoder, DataCleaner™ and DirectoryExpert®, and the Symmetry decision support and analytic tools.


Justin Bonyai

Senior training consultant

Justin Bonyai is a certified professional coder who brings a decade of experience in both domestic and international training to his classes at Ingenix. His background includes work in organizational, operational, marketing, and revenue cycle management within the health care industry. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in health care administration and is a previous member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Focus areas: ClaimsManager, Encoder Pro, iCES.


Miriam De Leon

Senior training consultant

Training consultant Miriam De Leon brings a broad background in health care operations, business planning, training, and implementation to her role with Ingenix, where she currently focuses on helping clients utilize ContractManager. Miriam’s previous responsibilities included physician recruitment, provider relations, managed care contracting with large physician groups and major health plans, credentialing, and sales.

Focus areas: ContractManager.


James Easdale, CPC

Senior training consultant

Classroom trainer James Easdale’s experience includes eight years in the health care industry in both the payer and provider arenas. He has worked as a trainer for six years, and enjoys interacting with clients and helping facilitate their learning process.

Focus areas: iCES, ClaimsManager, TransactionManager™ Encoder Pro, CES, IWCC, and Connectivity Director.


Michael Evans, MS, RHIA, CCS

Manager, facilities product education

With more than 25 years experience, Michael Evans brings to his role expertise in numerous areas of health information management. Prior to joining Ingenix, he consulted with hospitals around the country on quality assurance and data process improvements, and managed the successful redesign of the medical records process at a Florida teaching hospital. Michael holds a master’s degree in health occupations administration and education, and has served on several state and national industry associations.

Focus areas: ICD-9-CM and CPT4/HCPCS coding and education for hospitals and physician offices, and the development and implementation of clinical documentation management programs.


Michelle Foster

Senior training consultant

Michelle Foster’s background includes work as an instructional designer, software trainer, curriculum developer, network documentation engineer, and technical writer. She holds a master’s degree in education and has worked at Ingenix for more than 11 years. Her recent work includes developing online specialty courses in preventing fraud and abuse and writing course content for both instructor-led classes and online webinars for GeoAccess Products and ClaimsManager.

Focus areas: GeoNetworks®, GeoCoder, DataCleaner™, DirectoryExpert®, DisruptionAnalysis®, and ProviderMatch and Referral.


Beryl Ledoux

Senior training consultant

Beryl Ledoux, senior product consultant, brings more than twenty years hands-on experience in insurance claims to her current role in training. Her extensive experience working at mid- to large payers includes claims analysis, health plan operations, health care technology, and direct work with members and providers. Beryl has worked as a trainer for five years and enjoys how every class challenges her to think and refine her own knowledge.

Focus areas: Symmetry solutions, including Symmetry EBM Connect®, Symmetry ETGs®, ERGs®, PRGs™ PEGs™ and GeoNetworks®.


Genevieve Rudick, RN, BSN

Senior training consultant

Genevieve Rudick’s responsibilities include developing and delivering training, and consulting with clients during their implementation of the Impact Pro™ and Consumer Provider systems to make sure the software achieves their business goals. Prior to joining Ingenix, Genevieve worked in health care leadership positions with both clinical and non-clinical staff and Fortune 500 employers. Her work in operations and process improvement included utilizing predictive modeling and member identification technology to lower patient costs and readmission rates, helping launch a medical disability management program, and coaching a team of nurses and clinical managers.

Focus areas: Predictive modeling, member identification software, Impact Pro™, Impact Provider and Impact Consumer.


David Wilson, MSN, MBA, RN

Senior training consultant

David Wilson brings impressive experience to his role as trainer. With more than fifteen years in the healthcare field, David has extensive experience designing and implementing care management programs with the use of technology tools. He brings that expertise to the classroom as a senior consultant, training users of Impact Pro™ and Impact Intelligence™ for Payers. With such vast, practical experience to draw from, David constantly receives high praise from his students for his ability to facilitate deep knowledge and practical use of these leading care management tools. He holds both a MSN in Nursing Administration and a MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School and School of Nursing, plus he is a certified Registered Nurse.

Focus areas: Impact Pro™, Impact Intelligence™ for Payers. Expert in creating and testing business rules based on ICD-9, CT-4, HCPCS, Revenue, and National Drug Codes.
